NYC public schools have failed to provide students with an equitable education.

Schools have been a place of erasure and silencing of those most marginalized histories and voices. The NYC Department of Education does not have a curriculum that prepares students for greater society. It lacks sustainable education.

It’s time for us to get the education we deserve. We deserve to be in spaces that prioritize ethnic studies, social emotional support, creativity and guided self discovery through intergenerational unlearning.
